Construction
Building up our people.
We are proud to announce the creation of Triple Bottom Line Construction through a partnership between DDDC and Evergreen Homes & Construction. This collaboration comes after the successful completion of River Bend and its continued prosperity.
The intention of this partnership is to prioritize DDDC-specific projects that directly contribute to the well-being of local First Nations communities. Together, we aim to fill a gap in the market by not only providing affordable housing, but also by empowering TKC Citizens through on-the-job training, skills development, and the creation of sustainable career opportunities.
We embrace the triple bottom line approach, championing the following pillars:
Social well-being and equity for people
Sustainable financial prosperity
Environmental preservation and stewardship

Future Developments:
Winter Crossing
After the successful completion of River Bend, we are proud to announce the development of Winter Crossing will begin soon. Under the entity of Triple Bottom Line Construction, a partnership between DDDC and Evergreen Homes & Construction, this development will help to bridge the gaps for home ownership.
The plan for the 105 unit building is to offer a mix of rental suites, and affordable housing units for TKC Citizens and those on the waiting list of Yukon Housing Corporation. This will be the largest multi-residential building in the City of Whitehorse and construction is expected to begin during summer 2023.
